WOW. Truly a hidden gem in the area! This dumpling house is owned by the sweetest family, who make the most delicious food. Must try the dumplings, of course, always cooked perfectly with a little crisp. They are so flavorful, me and my friends looked at each other with wide-eyes after the first bite. Everything is so fresh and tasty, full of flavor. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated with a modern edge. The ceiling literally has scroll wallpaper- it's awesome. I think I've been around 4+ times and can happily call myself a regular.

We had dinner last night and ordered Peking Duck. It was FABULOUS. There was a bit of a wait but it was worth it. The meat was very juicy and flavorful and the skin was super crispy. The sauteed pea seedling leaves with garlic was excellent.

Walked in on a cold day while my car was in the shop nearby. I was craving a hot soup and ordered a small hot and sour soup. Delicious! Succulent bits of tofu and crunchy black fungus in a piquant silky broth served in a decorative little bowl with a lid. For mains we ordered the steamed pork soup dumplings and the shredded pork in garlic sauce. The pork dish is now in my top five best Chinese dishes I've ever had! It was sweet, sour, and spicy - the vegetables were fresh and crispy - carrots and snowpeas - the pork was succulent and lightly breaded. Definitely a memorably flavorful dish. Would love to return and try more dishes! Authentic high-quality Chinese cuisine would definitely recommend.

The best traditional chinese food in town. Both the food and service is top tier. Im from out of state and have been craving this place since the last time i came which was last year. The food quality and taste is still the best! Everything is fresh and at a proper price. Would totally recommend this place for anyone who wants to try some real traditional Chinese cuisine (especially the peking duck).

Dumplings are good in texture. Flavor of the dumplings is ample, if even a little high on sodium

The dumplings were delicious, the pineapple shrimp had great flavor. The service was very good and staff were very friendly. They had nice wall paintings and music was nice. They also had the NU Rangers game on. I highly recommend you stop by.

We recently discovered this place and are soooo glad! Mom and pop vibes galore, hot tea when you sit down, and many fairly priced delicious entree options. The star of the show is the DUCK. We started with buns, dumplings and wonton soup. We then had the Peking duck and veggie entree. The chef (?) came out to check on us mid duck feast and offered a delicious duck broth soup made with the bones- sooo good. Great option for Chinese especially if you are craving delicious duck. We will be back!!

A good friend I trust told me that the best Peking duck on Long Island was in Glen cove. I was very skeptical. Maybe the best pizza or Italian food, but Peking duck?? As it turns out, it was very good. I think it also helps that the guy that carves up the duck is AMAZING! He so much meat off the duck. And then top it all off, they took the carcass and made a soup out of it for no extra charge. The really traditional duck houses in the city used to do that but you don't see it any more. The one change I would suggest is to put all the skins on top of the meat rather than just stacking them haphazardly because the skin pieces that are not on top get a little soggy. But I can forgive that because there was so much meat! As for the rest of the food, they were good but not at the same level except maybe the soup. My daughter had the hot and sour soup that she said was good and it came in this really cool bowl with a Buddha lid. I of course had to rub the belly although after all the duck meat, I could have just rubbed my own belly. The pan fried dumplings were ok and although the soup dumplings were tasty, the sauce was odd. Maybe not enough black vinegar. The sautéed pea shoots were ok. We also got talked into ordering the clams because the waiter suggested we have them, but they were a little spicy and needed rice as a side, which they did not provide. And we knew we had ordered a lot of food and did not want to waste the calories on rice. So we suffered through it. They really do a nice job with presentation starting with the napkins folded up like a rose, and all the nice bowls and pots. We will definitely be back for the duck!!
